Thought body and Intuitive body
What’s the difference between thought body and intuitive body?
Only awareness is the tool that can help distinguish a thought from an intuition. Here are a few tell-tale signs.
- Thought – Very clearly, if you notice a raaga or dvesha lurking in the background. Then you know it is a thought. This is coming from impressions of raaga & dvesha registered in your thought body.
- Intuition – Lack of raaga and dvesha is the first sign. Secondly, despite all logic of why you should go with option A, there is a strong feeling in the gut that Option B seems to pull you towards it, then it is an intuition. It comes from your intuitive body.
How to be more intuitive?
- Be 100%– You will be aware of your intuition, only if you are 100% in the present moment. Because when you are 100% in the present moment, raagas and dveshas drop away automatically. Raagas and dveshas are always related to the past. If you are lost in your raaga or dvesha, your focus is on the past not on the present, therefore anything that you do in the ‘NOW’, will be full of raaga and dvesha. This action born out of raaga/dvesha will sow future agami karma seeds. To avoid agami karma, be in the present moment 100%.
- Be in a space of silence- Intuition works strongly when you are in a space of silence within. Not when there is the noise of raaga and dvesha in the mind. Thought body is noise. Intuitive body is silence. Be in silence and observe the intuition kick in. Being with what is, is being in a space of silence.
- Act spontaneously– When you let go of the past ‘again and again’ and just be with ‘what is’ from ‘moment to moment’, then every action becomes a spontaneous action. Every action is from a space of ‘silence’ rather than from the ‘noise of raaga and dvesha’. When acting spontaneously becomes your nature, the intuitive aspect of your consciousness that was submerged under the burden of raaga and dvesha, emerges.
Intuition is the higher intelligence giving you a signal of what IS! Be silent and receive!
