Question:

If everything is Knowledge, why is it that the body-mind person is unaware of it and only knows it when taught?

Answer:

As one progresses from the initial realization of being the witness of the body-mind at Srishti Drishti Vaad, one realizes that the body and mind are not a continuous permanent entity.

    • The body sensation arises like a wave and disappears.
    • Thoughts arise like waves and disappear.
    • Feelings arise like waves and disappear.

None of them is a permanently and inherently existing entity in itself.

    • The memory of all the body waves is woven together, in retrospect and an idea of a permanently existing body that is inherently independent is created.
    • The memory of all the thought waves is sewn together, in retrospect and an idea of a permanently existing and inherently independent intellect is created.
    • The memory of all the feeling + thought waves are twined together, in retrospect and an idea of a permanently existing and inherently independent mind is created.

Memory spins all ideas of existence into an assumed, continuous, permanent entity, the body-mind person.

The body-mind-person itself is a piece of knowledge created by the memory. It is not a permanently existing continuous and inherently independent entity. It is mere knowledge.

Attempt to see this truth. Gather the courage to acknowledge your own experience. You do see glimpses of the truth that the body-mind-person is not a single entity but pieces of knowledge assumed as ONE.

That piece of knowledge called the person is then assumed to be a conscious entity that can see, hear, smell, taste, touch, think, or understand. This is a mere assumption, a lie, a theory. That is not your direct experience.

    • In your direct experience, there arises only a wave of a sensation called the body. That sensation appears and disappears. It is not continuous or permanent.
    • In your direct experience, there arises only a thought wave called the mind. That thought appears and disappears. It is not continuous or permanent.
    • In your direct experience, there arises only a feeling wave called the mind. That feeling appears and disappears. It is not continuous or permanent.

The continuity and permanency is an assumption. This truth needs to be directly seen first at the witness level. Then it will become evident how all is simply knowledge, when even the witnessing melts away into the nothingness of consciousness dear.

The truth will then dawn that that which is only a piece of knowledge cannot know or comprehend another piece of knowledge. The person can never know, it itself is knowledge.

But don’t believe blindly, attempt to see this truth in your own direct seeing. I am walking by the side of the earnest spiritual seeker.

    Dear Ektaji,
What occurs after one reaches this stage?
This person still has sansaric responsibilities full of actions and consequences.

Excellent way of explaining the question
Impermanence of body mind and intellect equipment to which we relate as permanent which it is not.
Moving towards consciousness-Awareness-🕉 or Brahman is our goal to experience that permanence
    Thanks again
