Question:

Ektaji, please can you help clarify about Kalpa or Yuga or the end of time? Also, did God create the world?

 

Answer:

‘You-the-Witness-Consciousness,’ dream of a sleeping-dream-world every night. When you are done with the sleeping-dream, every dream subject and object dissolves and disappears, but there is no real death.

Similarly, when the Waking state appears, ‘You-the-Witness-Consciousness,’ are dreaming of a Waking-Dream-World. When you are done with the Waking dream, every Waking-Dream subject and object dissolves and disappears. The Waking-Dream disappears, but there is no real death.

There is no real death here. There is no real birth here. Everything is simply an appearance and disappearance. The limited intellect of the body-mind-subject cannot fathom this appearance and disappearance and therefore terms it as death and birth.

The end of the Waking-Dream is termed as the end of a Kalpa/Yuga on the Dwaitam path where there is none. When you look at reality from the Non-dual perspective, you will see that there is no real END of a Kalpa or Yuga.

Why is there no end?

In reality, there is no beginning; that is why there is no end. You-the-Primordial-Awareness can never be born; hence you can never die. Only the functions of ‘projection & knowingness’ appear and disappear. That is called the Witness Consciousness. The appearance and disappearance is beginningless and endless.

So is there a creator God?

It is a cute children’s story to think of it as God got bored and created the world. In reality, there is NO GOD! There is no world either. There is simply a film on which images appear and disappear, and the images try to start understanding the screen but fail. Drop trying to understand from the intellect. If you still assume to be the body-mind person, then listen to your gut only, and that is truly what ‘Awareness’ is! Then you will see clearly that there is only Brahman and nothing else but Brahman. Everything else is simply labels of the mind – God, World, Guru, Kalpa, Yuga, Birth, Death, etc.
