Question:

In Knowingness, this sweetness is present, a completeness, fullness. Is this also part of the ups and downs of the mind? Or is this the Knowingness that I am?

Answer:

Pure Consciousness is devoid of the I. There is Knowingness devoid of a knower. Being established in the zeroness of Pure Consciousness has a soft absorption quality like that of a sponge absorbing water.

Some describe this absorption as a sweet peace because it is empty of thought, feeling, sensation, and perception. When the mind is absent, the ‘I’ is absent. When the ‘I’ is absent, the inner stiffness has dissolved into an infinite field of softness. This softness has a sweetness to it. Hence, the description of sweet peace. Purnata!

Some describe this absorption as fullness because the sweet peace fills up the entire field of ‘Non-I’. That overflowing and overwhelming inner softness imparts the self-realization of totality. Hence, the description of fullness. Manah Prasad Somyatvam!

Some describe it as emptiness because the sweetness is empty of the ‘I’. There is a clear recognition of Nobodyness or Nothingness devoid of the feeling of ‘Somebodyness and Somethingness’. Hence the description of emptiness or zeroness. Shunyata!

As you dive deeper into it more descriptions become evident, my dear. Every sage who got there described it in his own words.

Keep chugging! I am right by the side of a sincere seeker.
