Dear Didi, I am beginning to recognize myself and others as formless and nameless. Are others different aspects of me? Is my daughter an aspect of me appearing as a daughter? Am I projecting all these people based on my own impressions? If so, how do I comprehend the Karma of the aspect of me that is appearing as my daughter? Why is that ‘person’ suffering? Do each of these aspects of me (each projection of me) carry its own karma, and create its own personal world? Do I appear and disappear to them, just like they are arisings for me?

Answer:

You are the formless awareness field. When you forget your nature, you seek your self-identity. In the search for identity, you begin imagining form. Imagination is projection. The Imagined form is the perceived. 

‘You-the-formless’ have projected everything as your personal universe, and that is called the perceived Vishwa Deha, or the Universal body, or the World.

Jijivisha is the first desire that spontaneously arises in You-the-Consciousness; it is the desire to exist and experience.

• • Your desire to exist projects the illusion of a personal body.
  • Your desire to experience projects the illusion of a universal body or a world.

It is similar to how you project a dream character being chased by a dream tiger in a dream jungle. They are all your imagination or the reflections of your cravings or aversions.

• • You know your projected dream tiger, but does the dream tiger know ‘you-the-dreamer’?
  • Can it be said that the dream tiger projected its dream jungle?
  • Can it be said that if the dream tiger is sick and hungry, that is its karma?
  • Can the ‘Witness of the dream’ appear and disappear, like an arising, to the dream tiger?

Draw a parallel between the Dream and the Waking.

• • Is there any way to prove that your projected people know ‘you-the-formless-awareness’?
  • Is there any way to prove that your projected imagination can, in turn, project like you?
  • Is there any way to prove that your projected imagination has its own karma?
  • Is there any way to prove that you-the-Witness appear and disappear to your projections?

Can you prove the continuous and permanent existence of anything in your World? Dive deeper into this and ponder over what the reality is.
